9 activations across 7 stores, March to July 2026. Turning Google's AI into something people can walk into, touch, and take home. Every event in this series put a custom Gemini Gem at its center - mixing drinks, running trivia, shooting headshots, generating trading cards, planning bike routes. The premise held across a music festival, a marathon, a Pride concert, an All-Star weekend, and Comic-Con: when AI is the thing you do rather than the thing you're shown, people stay longer, engage deeper, and buy more.

Concept: Two events in two consecutive days, built with Latinx tech community Colectivo and with Women Who Code, each an educational panel and workshop on turning AI experimentation into working advantage. Both ran the same interactive spine: a Build Your Own Tote Bag station with custom patches, professional headshots shot on Pixel using Gemini Nano Banana, and personalized drinks from a Gemini Gem that reads LinkedIn profiles.
Outcome: Turnout from existing partner communities validated the Chelsea store as a genuine community hub rather than a venue. The tote station was the standout: 118 bags available across both days, six left at the end. Making guests build the giveaway rather than handing it over drove markedly deeper engagement. An outdoor selfie-mirror activation, branded with event creative and an open prompt about innovation, engaged guests before they entered and caught passersby who hadn't heard of the event. Colectivo's post-event feedback singled out the end-to-end execution and event design.
